By now I actually had some questions come up, so here they are:

How the heck do I start it?
Use Alt+X, then just start typing. You can configure the key combination in the general settings. Note though that some combinations won't work currently. (Specifically, most of those using more than one modifier key)
It uses 20 MB RAM when not active, what is up with that?
Actually, it uses about 1.6 MB in the current version. What you are seeing in the task manager is the VM RAM usage. It will release all that memory (but for the abovementioned 1.6 MB) to the system as soon as it is needed. Update: The most recent version now also shows the correct value in the task manager.
When I start it, it hogs my CPU!
That's by design (though it only uses 6% here).
But it uses my CPU by just running in the background...
That absolutely should not happen. I have so far heard two reports of that, and I just don't understand it - it doesn't do anything when not active, the CPU usage should always be flat 0. I also cannot reproduce it personally.
